US Netizen E-mail: Apple Mail

  1. Log into US Netizen Webmail
  2. Enable POP in your US Netizen Webmail account.
  3. Open Apple Mail.
  4. Click 'Mail,' and select 'Preferences...'


  5. Open the 'Accounts' tab, and click the plus sign (+) along the bottom to add a new account.


  6. Enter 'pop.gmail.com' in the 'Incoming Mail Server:' field.
  7. Enter your US Netizen e-mail username (including '@usnetizen.com') in the 'User Name:' field.
  8. Enter your US Netizen e-mail password in the 'Password:' field.


  9. Select 'Add Server...' from the pop-up labeled 'Outgoing Mail Server,' and enter 'smtp.gmail.com' in the 'Outgoing Mail Server:' field.
  10. Enter '587' in the 'Server port:' field.


  11. Check the box next to 'Use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL).'
  12. Select 'Password' next to 'Authentication:' and enter your US Netizen e-mail username (including '@usnetizen.com) and US Netizen e-mail password.
  13. Click 'OK.'
  14. Click 'Advanced' and check the box next to 'Use SSL.' (The port changes to '995.')


* Did you click 'Save Changes' after enabling POP in US Netizen Webmail? To ensure that US Netizen mail can communicate with your mail client, be sure to click 'Save Changes' on the US Netizen webmail 'Mail Settings' page.
