- Open Microsoft Outlook 2003.

- From the menu bar, select Tools > E-Mail Accounts.
- The E-Mail Accounts wizard starts.

- Choose Add a new e-mail account and click on the Next > button.

- The Server Type window appears. Select POP3 from the list and click the Next > button.

- The Internet E-mail Settings (POP3) window opens. Enter the following information:
Your
Name: Enter your name
E-mail Address: username@usnetizen.com
Incoming mail server (POP3): pop.gmail.com
Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smtp.gmail.com
User Name: username@usnetizen.com
Password: Enter your password

- Click on More Settings. Click on Outgoing Server. Check the box for My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.

- Click on the Advanced tab. Check the box This server requires and encrypted connection. The Incoming server (POP3) port should change to 995.
- Check the box This server requires and encrypted connection. The Outgoing server (SMTP) port should change to 465.
- Click OK then Next. The Congratulations window opens.

- Click on Finish to close the wizard.
- Outlook 2003 is now configured to send and receive e-mails.
