Windows Vista - Creating the US Netizen Connection

Please login using an Administrator account or an Administrator access account.

  1. Click on the Start button, then click on Connect To.

  2. On the bottom, click on Set up a new connection
  3. A window will appear. Select Set up a dialup connection. Click on the Next > button.

  4. Type in the phone number that you will be using to connect to US Netizen. (access number list) Don't include a 1.
  5. Type in your user name (userid@usnetizen.com) and Password. Check the box Remember this password (optional).
  6. Change Dial-up Connection to US Netizen.
  7. Click on the Connect > button.
  8. Vista will begin connecting to the Internet. You can allow it to finish connecting, or click on Skip and the wizard will finish.
  9. Click on Set up the connection anyway.
  10. The wizard has created the connection. Click Close to finish.
  11. A new dialer is created in the Network Connections.
  12. This does not place a connection shortcut icon on the Windows desktop.
  13. You've successfully setup the US Netizen connection.
