Windows 2000 - Creating a Connection
- On your Windows desktop, double click on the My Computer icon.
- When the My Computer window opens, double click on the Control Panel icon.

- The Control Panel window opens. Double click on the Dial-Up Networking icon.

- The Dial-Up Networking window opens. Double click on the Make New Connection icon.

- The Network Connection Wizard window opens.
- Click on the Next > button to proceed.

- Click on Dial-up to the Internet and click on Next > button to continue.

- Click on "I want to setup Internet connection manually, or I want to connect through a local area network[LAN]".
- Click on the Next > button.

- Click on the option box "I connect through a telephone line and a modem".
- Click on the Next > button.

- Select the modem type that you have installed previously and click on the Next >. button to continue.

- Type in the US Netizen access number that you're going to use.

- Type in your user name (userid@usnetizen.com) and password. Click on the Next > button.

- Type in US Netizen at the Connection Name prompt.

- Click on the option box No and click on the Next > button.
(If you would like to configure the mail account, you can check on the option box Yes to continue)

- Click on the Finish button to end the setup.

- You will see an icon for US Netizen in the Network and Dial-Up Connections folder.
