Windows XP - Adding Alternate Phone Numbers
-
For Win XP Pro and Home users:
- On the Windows Desktop, click on Start > Connect To and select US Netizen

- Click on Properties

- Click on Alternates

- Click on Add

Add the information for additional access numbers and click OK. Repeat as needed to add more local access numbers.
You can also add numbers for your destination when you are traveling. Do this before you leave and the number will already be available to use when you arrive. If you are dialing from a motel, you may need to enter a 9 (for an outside line) followed by a comma (wait three seconds for the dial tone) in front of the number.
- Click OK again and choose the number to dial from the dropdown list under Dial.
- Click Dial to connect with the number you selected.
